Growing Healthy Minds

Childhood is a crucial time for growing healthy minds. All children need care and support to develop and learn. Some children need additional help to reach their potential. KidsMatter is a mental health and wellbeing framework for primary schools and early childhood education and care services, and is proven to make a positive difference to the lives of Australian children.

The KidsMatter program involves the whole school community working together to strengthen partnerships, build resilience, seek out support and provide intervention where necessary. The social and emotional learning program that we have adopted to implement the philosophies of KidsMatter is called “Bounce Back”.

We provide regular information for parents about the issues raised through KidsMatter in our newsletters.

Kids Helpline is a free, private and confidential, telephone and online counselling service specifically for young people aged between 5 and 25.
